Lobster For Tea Anyone…!?

Friday, January 21st, 2011

If you fancied Lobster on the table when you got in every night you might think it was an excessive and expensive habit – but not with the new Phil & Teds Lobster, the highchair designed to clip on to your table.

The new Phil & Teds Lobster is a pretty tidy addition to the family, which can be packed away rather small and neatly for easy storage. It features a carry bag which you can use to take your new Lobster highchair with you to restaurants or to your friends even – it gives you the flexibility to not have to worry if there will be a highchair or not because it is so easy just to take your own. Coupled with that there is also the familiarity (and love) of the highchair by your child which makes them comfortable and relaxed in their often new surroundings.

The NEW Lobster from Phil & Teds is designed to clip onto a table, between the thickness of 20mm and 95mm – and is then securely fastened by the used of the ‘lobster’ style clamp.

The Lobster features a 5-point safety harness designed to comfortably retain your child whilst they are busy eating up all of their food (easier said than done!). Another included feature of the new Lobster is the tray which slides just under the top claw and is there to try and limit the amount of mess that is caused at meal times!

The fabrics are all easy to clean making for a hygenic atomosphere, and with colours of Black and also Black / Red there are a couple of options for if you have a preference.

The Phil and Teds Lobster is a clip on highchair which can be used between the ages of 6 months to about 3 years old (safety certified weights), and a maximum weight of 17kgs which is around 37lbs.

For more information have a look at the Lobster in Red/Black or the straight Black versions.

Look, its the new Phil & Teds Explorer

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

So what is all the fuss about? Launching a ‘better’ model than an exisiting model is a normal practice where any product is concerned. However, in the case of Phil and Teds, the new Explorer does not only improve upon the, now discontinued, Sport, it also goes that extra bit further to improve the design in a few more-than-subtle ways…New Phil and Teds Explorer Pushchair

  • The brake no longer uses the ‘wire’ approach, instead there is now a pedal to either apply or remove the brake from the pushchair making it perfect for anyone in flip-flops now!
  • A one hand fast fold design is even easier than the Sport now to fold up and transport about.
  • Follow-the-sun sunshade/hood now gives a larger coverage but also gives full adjustment as well. There is also a cool pocket within the hood for extra storage whilst you are out and about in your new Phil and Teds Explorer!
  • A change to the seat means that the recline can be managed with one hand and gives an infinitive number of recline positions  because of the quick-adjust harness. The interchangable seat liners allow the pushchair to be customised to the styles of the owener too.
  • When it comes to the doulbe kit, there is now a hood as part of the double kit which gives that extra bit of shade to your toddler in the rear, and again the interchangeable seat liner is a nice little addition.
  • Moving away from a fabric footwell, the Phil and Teds Explorer features a plastic footwell making it easy-to-clean, but also now it is ultra hardwearing too.
  • Possibly one of the coolest features is that you can now use both the car seat and the double kit at the same time; meaning that you can transport your newborn and your toddler at the same time as one another.
